There are 3 different types of radio aerial - the old AM aerials, FM aerials and Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) aerials. Some radio stations still transmit on the AM band but this is being gradually phased out.

DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) Radio

The number of digital transmissions (DAB), are increasing, due to the CD like sound.  To receive the new Digital Audio Broadcasting transmissions, the DAB 5 Element aerial is designed specifically for DAB reception and gives a perfect CD quality sound. Advantages of digital radio include,

• Huge choice of music and talk.

Virtually all of our radio aerials can be mounted on the same mast as your current TV aerial, which will remove the need for a new separate mast, keeping the cost down. This also helps the new aerial to blend in alongside the existing aerial. Using a splitter/combiner, the new radio signal can be combined with the existing TV signal so only one cable enters the property.
